Chris Fox '68
2534 N Austin Ave
Georgetown, TX 78626
1-877-592-796
I have very sad news to report. This past Saturday morning a good friend
and fellow biker passed away. Many of you knew Chris Fox as the mellow guy who
could answer any question or order any part. Chris worked at Central Texas
Power Sports in the parts department and several months ago was diagnosed with
Lukemia. He lost his battle early saturday morning. There is no memorial or
funeral planned and I think being his extended "family" I feel like
we should recognize that this man's life meant something and we all
appreciated him.
The place is to be determined so check back for more details but I can say
that I would like to have everyone meet at Central Texas Power Sports on
Sunday Feb. 21 at 10:00 am and do a bit of a memorial and then ride out to a
nearby park to visit with some other family and have refreshments.
On a side note as of right now due to some people thinking only of themselves
and being selfish Chris' wife is being left with basically nothing... normally
we would set up a fund to donate to the Lukemia society but because of the
hardships his wife is going through I would like to set up a memorial fund for
his wife, Ming. Chris deserves better than what he got and I think that we
need to show Ming (and Chris) we loved and respected this man.
If you ever even visited the parts department new store or old you have met
"Fox" and definately if you ever ordered a part you probably ordered
it from "Fox".
If you need a picture go to http://www.ctpowerspo...
and look at staff pictures.

Glenn Jauer '68
Walter Glenn Jauer, Jr., 59
years old, died on May 31, 2009, in Houston, Texas. Glenn had only learned that
he had cancer eight months ago. Glenn was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on
September 14, 1949, to Walter and Ethel Jauer. He attended Mary Carroll High
School in Corpus Christi and graduated from Brunswick High School in Brunswick,
Maine. Glenn touched the lives of all his friends and family. If you met him,
you were his friend. He was one of the most joyous souls to be among us. Glenn
made all of us smile with his vast knowledge of trivia on numerous subjects and
he usually had an amusing anecdote to go along with his facts. We all believed
that had he been a contestant on JEOPARDY!, he would have won. Glenn was
passionate about his beliefs in social justice and music. Glenn was a talented
photographer, a master of the guitar, mandolin, and various other instruments.
Glenn is preceded in death by both parents and his son, Walter Glenn Jauer, III.
He is survived by his grandson Walter Glenn Jauer, IV, his sister, Jean, and her
family, and his former wife, Mary. Glenn had numerous aunts, uncles, cousins,
nieces, nephews, a multitude of diversely talented musician friends, and two
wonderful companions, nl and Rex the cat.
Glenn's presence on earth was so strong that his spirit remains with us. If we
ever need a smile all we have to do is think of Glenn and recall the sound of
his laugh. A private memorial and internment service have been scheduled.
